A spot to gather

Jen and Andy constructed an area in their back yard.  It was a family project.  Neither of the grandboys want to be landscapers after this project. They are learning some really good life skills.

Firepit in Fisher

There are ten chairs…Plenty of room for a group.

We sat in the shade of the large trees and visited.  Their lawn looks really good this year.  I think they have one more outside project planned…a deck and steps.

The house and garage used to be white now they are a soft green and the roof is brand new this summer.  The grandboys don’t want to be roofers either.

How pretty and inviting. I bet the neighbors will be wandering over for a sit-down soon.

Fire pits are the rage today.

The patio looks so inviting and I love the color on the house. Guess a little hard work turned off the grand boys. My grandson is the same way.

A very nice gathering place. I want one just like it! The first step in finding out what you want to do with your life is figuring out what you don't want to do, so they are right on track! :-0

Nothing like hard physical labor to make kids decide that college is a better idea!

They're getting their money's worth out of them before they go off to college because they know when that happens they won't have any money to do anything! Smart parents! LOL!

Looks like a great family spot. The grandboys may not want to be roofers or landscapers, but when the tome comes for their own homes, they may be able do draw from what they learned from the projects.

The boys don't want to be landscapers but they learned something they will remember the rest of their lives.

That looks really good and professional. Every time we tried to lay any kind of paving stones, they came out uneven.

Looks like a very nice patio. Nothing like a little roofing to teach you the value of education!

That looks great! I wonder if having a fire pit would keep the mosquitoes away. We are still battling them.

Doesn't that look cozy! I like the idea of a fire pit but unfortunately they are not allowed here in town. We have a propane 'fire pit' but it's not the same as a wood fire.

It looks like a great place to be in the evenings to make somores. Everyone has a green house in that town. I like the whole area for conversation and I bet tables could be brought in for meals.
