My desk

Is a mess.  Too many projects, I flit from one project to the next many times a day accomplishing nothing.
messy desk
See I told you it is a mess.  Yesterday and for about a week I have been working on some note cards.
I used some paper scraps from the scrap paper drawer…doesn’t everyone have one of those…I do never can tell when I need a pretty piece of paper that is not 12 x 12 or 8 x 10…wouldn’t want to just slice into a NEW sheet of paper for just a small piece.  Oh yes I am a paper hoarder.
Small tape runner
I am also a hoarder of these small tape runners, they have refills and I had three of them…I was afraid they would lose their glue so I am using them up.

How do you like that fancy edge on the paper?  I like it!  Jen, Andy and boys gave me the cutter that makes this fancy edge.  It was a Christmas gift.  I can also make a picket fence border but I like the fancy edge the best.
Cards
I sold a bunch of cards and I needed to replenish my supply.  It would be awful if the card maker would have to buy a card. These are all wallet size photos on smaller cards, I still have to do the larger cards that take 4 x 6 photos.

I love the fancy borders. They are perfect for framing such elegant and delicate flowers. And of course I have a scrap paper drawer, er box. Just as I have a scrap fabric shelf, a scrap yarn tub ....

That pretty fancy paper border is beautiful! It caught my eye in the second picture, so I'm glad you told me what it is and where you got it. No, I don't have a drawer for paper scraps, but now I feel deprived! :-)

Beautiful. Makes me feel like making cards, too.

Wow! Those borders made a big splash! Other commentators like them as well. They really make a card special. If that's what happens when your desk is messy, you should never clean it up!

A creative person never has a "messy" desk! The edging complements your beautiful photos - well done.

I can't imagine how those edgings are made. Is it a machine that stamps them out or what? So pretty an effect. I have read that creative people have messy desks. One excuse as good as another! I believe in the creative theory.

Love the fancy border! You've given me ideas. I just glue my photos on cards, never thought to put paper behind them. Thank you for the idea!
p.s. I always have trouble signing in on Wordpress, so I use anonymous.

Really like them, but what's a tape runner?

These are beautiful.

A tape runner runs a small amount of tape on the back of the paper. It dispenses the tape:)

Do you sell them on Etsy or locally? Seems you told us once.

Your cards are much prettier than any I've seen in stores. I love that fancy border.

All the projects on the go and running back and forth is you. That's who and what you are. that makes for a very lively, happy energetic person. That's you , isn't it?

You have mad skills when it comes to card-making, and I love the new fancy edges. That tool is the perfect gift for you! My desk is even worse than yours, and today is my day to tackle it. So far I've just worked around the piles accomplishing nothing!

We need to get at this as we are not lacking in images to print. I have some cards made by a company and use them for special gifts. My desk is in need of a visit for cleaning but the work counter in the old frame shop area took a long time to get cleared with things put away. Company was coming in so guilt made me do it. I really like the new card treatments.

What a pretty border punch! I know how pretty those photos really are having just gotten a big card a little while ago--whoohoo!

Doesn't everybody have a scrap paper box or drawer or satchel? LOL! My craft table is a mess and I am getting very little done, either. I need to get on the stick this weekend. ;)

Can you show us the picket fence border please? I think we'd all like to see it.

I like the fancy border...I need to learn to make cards as I hate the ones you have to buy...they are either way too sweet or just plain stupid.

I love those cards with the fancy border. Very crafty!! I like the idea of making your own cards!

We are unanimous....we love the cards, esp. the edging. You are not lacking in talents, for sure.Or ideas of things to make!!

That's the most organized mess I've seen in a long time! All those stacks and paper stashes are a sign of someone who gets a lot of stuff done. It may not seem like it when you look at it by the hour, but over the long haul, you do a lot. Don't be so hard on yourself.

my wife also likes to make card with her photographs
