Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

Turkey, I like dark meat, forget the white meat.  Mashed potatoes with gravy.  Stuffing or dressing what ever you call it with apples and raisins. Sweet potatoes with a little butter and brown sugar.  Corn. Coleslaw with small chunks of apple.  A few pickles and a slice of pumpkin pie. And perhaps something a bit bubbly to drink…champagne would be wonderful…and then a nap.

I am with you on the dark meat for turkey and chicken. Your menu sounds good!

It is snowing lightly here in the Twin Cities right now. They say maybe 1-3.. This is the first snow of our winter this year.

Have a good Thanksgiving.

Our roasted turkey, not, it was chicken tasted really good. The two of us created more food than we both could eat. We will have a couple more meals out of the leftovers. We are waiting for the weather to turn on us with snow and ice. It just is not quite freezing yet. I hope everything was great. We have pie and cool whip to eat for supper.

YUM we'd make a good pair - I'm all about the white meat! LOL But I'd fight you for the corn and stuffing! hahaha

I like the white meat, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, scalloped corn, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and 24 hour fruit salad and pumpkin pie with homemade whipped cream. Oh, and those little baby sweet pickles and maybe some spiced apples. I can't eat it all but I like knowing it's in the frig for later! LOL!
