They are such a beautiful flower. I am surprised I don't see more of them in my neighborhood. both my grandmothers always had Zinnias in their gardens.
You know they are my favorite. My sunflowers are starting to lean over trying to land on my zinnia bed. They sprayed for mosquitoes last night so I might be able to get out there late this afternoon.
Very pretty ! Lovely photos . My Marigolds are still thriving and all bright and orange and are huge now lol ! It has been lovely here in southwestern Ontario warm sun and cool breezes with bright blue sky's . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
My zinnias were lovely in September up until the lowering sun caused the garden patch to be mostly in shade and the nighttime temps dropped into the 40's. Now the flowers are refusing to open their eyes any more.
I have two rows of Zinnias that have bloomed and bloomed and now look rather tattered and tired. Mine are over five feet tall and I'm thinking next year I'll look for seeds for shorter ones. These ended up needing propping up.

Oh they sure are pretty. Hug B
No, I don't have any blooming near me, but dahlias in the next door neighbor's yard make up for it! :-)
Mine are starting to die away and I once again forgot to plant a second batch. Next year! They are right at the top of my favorites.
Beautiful, ours is the mum.

Zinnias definitely say, "Fall" in this area, too. They are hardy bloomers.

I have that same colour, so striking against the dark green!

The orange zinnias are so pretty! It has been so terribly dry here that the zinnias look diseased and awful.

And isn't that just the perfect color for fall?!
No, I don't. But I'll pretend that orange one is blooming outside my patio door. ;)
