Spring Sales

We spent the day yesterday looking for treasures.  Never can tell when you will find something that you cannot live without.  The little town of Menahga had city wide sales.  It was a cool day so Chance went along to supervise from the car.

I have some lawn art designs running around in my head.  Not sure if any will pan out or not. Going from my brain to a finished project is an adventure.

Some people collect the darndest “stuff.”

Anchors

Anchors ??  I guess.

My husband bought a wood carving and a fan. He is the last of the big spenders.

Of course I bought junk supplies for the projects in my brain and several Corning Ware pans and some pretty boxes…who can resist boxes…not me.

Those place are fun to rummage through. Corning Ware is always a good thing to buy. Boxes must be your thing. :-)

I haven't been to a garage or yard sale in a couple of years, but I love them.

Garage sales are so much fun...one man's junk is another man's treasure! We also have several resale shops around that are fun to wander through. Not looking for anything at the moment, but thrift shopping is always random.

Shopping in the yard and garage is always such a huge treat!

Since I have too much "stuff"/supplies I need to see pictures of what you bought so I can live vicariously through your purchases and that way I won't accumulate any more (junk) supplies! LOL! It was fine when I had all those outbuildings but not any more! I like those colorful anchors....they would make cute yard decor. It has to be for the yard as there's no more room in the house! Ha! Ha!

I hate shopping and looking at people's junk unless I want a specific thing like an 8 ft stepladder.

It's fun to shop for stuff you don't need.

Sounds like a good time. We don't really NEED anything, but John looks for cigar boxes and I like old cookbooks. Wishing you a happy mother's day.

An anchor collection? Oh well! But it sure sounds as if you guys had a good time. I like boxes too!

wasn't expecting the anchor collection to be so colorful. :)
Boxes! I have a hard time resisting boxes and pretty containers of all kinds.
Have a super week. :)

I hate most kinds of shopping -- but I love garage sales and yard sales. You just never know what unique thing you might find.
