Spitting Snow

It spit snow most of the day Monday.  Most of it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

Yes it turned cold here.  So far in April we have had one real rain where one inch of rain fell on Sunday…then this snow shower yesterday.  Not nearly enough moisture to bring May flowers.

Snow in the air

There was a little accumulation on the Wheel Seat.

Chilly Wheel Seat

Too chilly to sit out there and enjoy the weather…mostly the snow was falling sideways.

Far Guy is feeling better than he did last week…so that is an improvement.

Glad to hear Gene is feeling better. Spring is coming. It is in Southwest Ohio. Hope it brings you more rain. You need it and we have had plenty.

I am so happy to hear Far Guy is feeling better. I have been praying for him. Spring has sprung here in S.E. WI It was really warm last week; but now it is colder again and rainy with high winds. Sure wish Mother Nature would get her act together.

that is good news on Far Guy - maybe he likes the cool weather :) Not so pleased with the snow but I guess moisture is moisture in any form.

I think you are getting more moisture now as I saw the weather report this morning. We woke up to 30 degrees and the wind will pick up again coming from the north. Keep up the good work Far Guy.

Your weather sounds very similar to what's happening here. Slowly, things are starting to green.

Seems weird, but then I think there was a year that your snow stick wasn't naked yet at this point? Hope the green is quick on coming, and that's good news re: Far Guy!

So spring is giving off hissy fits...silly thing. I won't make you envious and tell you that we had a few stunningly beautiful and warm days. You might throw a snowball at me.

Here's to much warmer weather and some needed rain for you.

Well I do like all of your little red bird feeders. We had snow once in April. It was in the mid 1980's and actually snowed enough that we got to leave work early and go home. The roads were covered and getting slick.

Glad your hubby is better. I guess one good thing about the snow flurries - at least it's moisture!

That's because he's got the Gestapo to make him behave. Hope your weather gets better soon, but I'm sure glad to hear Far Guy is better this week. :-)
