Seven Years

Today marks seven years of blogging.   It has been an adventure.  I still enjoy blogging so I will continue.  Hopefully someday the Grands will have a good read…perhaps some family history can be unraveled for them.

I still have a few stories to tell…some I have avoided…some I would just as soon forget about…some are almost ancient history.  I will be unearthing some old thoughts in the upcoming year.

Maybe I have the seven year itch?  (A decrease in satisfaction after a long period of  time)  I have thought about blogging once or twice a week…instead of daily.  I have made no decisions at this time.

It is what it is. Que sera sera what ever will be will be.

As always thanks for reading my drivel.

I, for one, would miss your daily blogs. It's become a part of my morning routine. Happy New Year.

Like Cathie, I read your daily blogs, happy to see them. Tom often asks me. "What has Far Side had to say lately?" I am impressed you have kept your blog going seven years. Hope to do a little better on my own this year.

I love those hollyhocks! Especially since the world outside my window is all white again with 4 inches of new snow yesterday.
I don't think I could commit to blogging every day, but I do enjoy reading your blog whenever you feel like writing.

Ditto all of the above. Thanks for writing. Happy New Year!

I, too, love reading what you write everyday so as long as you have time, you have readers - - - but don't ever feel pressured to produce words. However, you have interesting stuff to talk about - - - some much different than in our locales - - - - like your "grasshopper" parade - - - going from memory here - - - something like Uro? I remember purple.
Bigger questions- - - how are you two feeling today? Praying FG is improved somewhat and you have fought it off.

I love to read your thoughts, which I would never call drivel. Keep on blogging, Connie! I love to peek into your world :-)

Happy blogaversary! Since I'm fairy new to this blog, I've enjoyed reading your thoughts and seeing your photographs. I know, blogging can sometimes be discouraging (you think no one is actually reading!) but folks do stop by and visit. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on 7 years. Wow! What a commitment. It takes a lot of time out of each day. At least, it does with me! However, I had a great sense of accomplishment when was blogging daily - and there are many times I go back to,check out whe I did X, Y or Z.
I also enjoy reading your blog, and feel like I have gotten to know you. It is great fun having blog friends out there!

Wow! Seven years!! That is wonderful!! You were my inspiration to start blogging, back in the day (through the Forum blogs). I just happened to stumble across your blog, and I was hooked, and next thing I knew, I was writing, as well. Sadly, I've fallen away from writing for a very long dry spell, and reading, as well. Perhaps I will get it together again some day!! ~Abra

My day would feel empty without your blog. You have created an expectation. I selfishly hope you would miss writing this great blog. Have a great day!!

I love that you blog daily, and that impresses me greatly, but would be happy to read it even if it was only occasionally. Hope you and Far Guy are feeling better. Congrats on the 7 years, wow!

Congratulations on the seven year achievement. I enjoy following your blog. I'm sure you have many more good stories to tell. It's good to stop and ponder once in a while as to where your blog is going. You've probably done that a number of times.

I can certainly understand not blogging daily. I don't anymore. But please do continue to post at least several times a week. We would miss you so much if you didn't.

Oh please - don't stop blogging every day! I read your blog every morning first thing and it is a great way to start my day. I selfishly want you to keep writing every day! Hope everyone at your house is getting over whatever they had. Here: we have some kind of viral infection with lots of coughing. Dr. said it is not flu or pneumonia. Thank goodness for that. Flu is bad in the state this year (MN).

Gosh, seven years! And all your posts are fun to read. I don't know how you do it. Hope you're not getting sick and I hope Far Guy gets better soon. Know what you mean about needing sunshine! This has been a cloudy rainy winter so far!

Happy Blogiversary, Far Side! Congratulations on those impressive seven years! I will join all those other "selfish" voices and say I hope you continue your daily blogging streak. There are a lot of people out there who would miss you otherwise.

That little burst of color was just what I needed today. Thanks for sharing that photograph!

Happy Blogiversary! Seven years...that is indeed impressive. I've always enjoyed your blog and look forward to your stories. I won't say that you should keep at it daily, however. That is up to you and whether you feel like doing it. I've cut back on my blogging lately because there is just so many hours in the day and so many things I like to do! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year!

Like Cathie, I would miss your daily blogs but unlike Cathie, it hasn't become part of my morning routine. I've always noticed the how many days under the blog listings on the side and wondered how you've managed to do it daily. Then I tell myself, that's you, dependable! I will enjoy what ever you decide! If no blog, maybe a picture...
