June 11 2014

My parents brought out homemade chicken and rice soup, I had a nap and a sauna and practically feel like a new only slightly sick person.

Sat in the yard for a few minutes last night.  Good to be outside after so many days incarcerated indoors.

Here are the Lady Slippers I had hoped to photograph last week..they are not perfect anymore but there were twelve in this clump.  These are early Yellow Lady Slippers more will bloom in a week or so.  Far Guy bought these tissue culture plants from a Bovey Minnesota Laboratory and planted this group about 14 years ago.

Lady Slippers there were 12 in my clump

June 10 2014 in our yard….good to take a photo again.

So glad to hear you are home and able to be outside a bit in the great weather we have been having. And how special to have lady slippers right in your own yard.
Take it easy and enjoy.

Good to hear from you. Enjoy the peace. If the hospital was like most it was NOT peaceful. Hope Far Guy is taking care of himself, too.

Hooray for your parents - - my kind of people making that soup for you. Also glad to see you got to take a pic - - of one of your favorites. It shows a great mindset towards wellness. Hopefully Far Guy is going to be feeling better, too.

I am glad you are home and the meds I hope, came with you to keep you getting better. I still have low stamina but now can do things to build my muscles back to normal. We had the yellow slippers in front of our cabin back then. I liek the white ones also. Take care and Far Guy has got to get rest and feel better too.
