The Baby’s Breath is in full bloom. Its real name is Gypsophila paniculata. It grows in the ditches here in our area of Minnesota.
It grows all roundy moundy..and then blooms. I see people in the ditch with scissors cutting bunches down everyday. If you hang it upside down and dry it you can use it in arrangements..or do what I used to do..fill a whole copper boiler with it. Nowadays I am using the old copper boiler for magazines.
The Baby’s Breath seems to be encouraged every year by the ditch robbers:)
